Important Update: Prescription Policy Change – Effective January 1, 2026

At Southtowns Animal Hospital, your pet’s health and safety are always our top priority. To ensure the quality and accuracy of all medications, we are updating our Prescription Policy, effective January 1, 2026.

Beginning in 2026, we will:

Your Options for Filling Prescriptions

1️⃣ Purchase directly through our hospital:
We stock a wide range of commonly prescribed medications and preventatives in-house.

2️⃣ Order through our trusted online pharmacy – VetSource:

3️⃣ Request a written prescription:
If you prefer to use a local pharmacy such as CVS, Walmart, or Wegmans, you may request a written prescription.
Please allow up to 72 business hours for written prescription processing. Written prescriptions must be picked up in person.
